I am going to go the tried and true classic response to this question - weak $ increases the value of repatriated overseas profits AND it makes imports more expensive this increasing the competitiveness of US companies. Of course...other things can eat into this benefit e.g. ADRs would get hurt due to the reverse effects.....but my guess would be that the things stated above would dominate. Weak $ link to the stock market….
